Overstory Consulting is an Alaska-based company specializing in project management, writing, and editing, with specialties in arts, culture, and wildlands. We achieve success alongside clients with a detailed eye to both process and results.

With a proven track record in nonprofit management and governance, Jeremy Pataky founded Overstory Consulting early in 2013. With offices in Anchorage and McCarthy, Alaska and a diverse statewide and national network, Overstory is well equipped to address nuanced needs of urban and rural clients alike.

Jeremy grew up in northern Idaho and began visiting Alaska in 1997, eventually moving to Anchorage early in 2003. He earned a BA at Western Washington University, an MFA from the University of Montana, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Foraker Group. His first book of poetry, Overwinter, was published by University of Alaska Press in the Alaska Literary Series. He was a founding board member of 49 Writers, Inc. and is a current board member of the McCarthy Area Council.
